The Very Rev. Dr. Jacob William French has served as a Circuit Minister at the South Accra Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana for over three decades.
Very Rev. Dr. French was commissioned as a deacon in June 1988 after a three-year theological education and ministerial formation at Trinity College, now Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon. He was ordained and received into full connexion and to the ministry of the Word and Sacraments in August 1991 after completing his mandatory three years of ministerial probation.
He furthered his theological education at Trinity Theological Seminary, University of Ghana, Legon and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota, where he attained his Doctor of Ministry in Congregational Missions and Leadership.
He has served as Circuit Minister in various congregations in Ghana, Canada, and USA and in four Circuits as the Superintendent Minister, namely Canada Mission Circuit, Washington Circuit, Swedru Circuit and Airport East Circuit.
The Very Rev. Dr. French has also served the Methodist Church Ghana, in various administrative and leadership capacities over the years, these include being a full-time Diocesan Youth Minister and Organiser; the Executive Brigade Secretary of The Boys’ Brigade Ghana; Assistant to the Administrative Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana; and as one of the pioneer missionaries to North America to develop the overseas missions of the Methodist Church Ghana.
Very Rev. Dr. Jacob W. French is currently an adjunct lecturer in World Religions at Trinity Theological Seminary, a member of the Liturgy Committee of the Methodist Church Ghana, and a Conference member.
Dr. French was born and raised in Sekondi. He lost his dear wife, Lynette Ewuraesi French, in April this year. The couple has three adult children currently residing in Canada.
The Very Rev. Dr French joins Accra Ridge Church from the Airport East Circuit as the Superintendent Minister and the Minister-in-Charge of Immanuel Society, Regimanuel Estate, East Airport.

The Reverend Frank Kissi Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG).
Rev. Kissi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Cape Coast, a Master of Divinity (MDiv.) from the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana Business School. Additionally, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Ghana.
Over the past years, Rev. Kissi dedicated his service as the Personal Assistant to two Clerks of the General Assembly of the PCG: first, for two years with Rev. Dr. Samuel Ayete-Nyampong, and then for four years with Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor.
Rev. Kissi's ministry journey includes service in these congregations, where he made a significant impact:
-- Redemption Congregation, Community 9, Tema,
He began as a Probationer and later served as an Associate Minister.
-- Grace Congregation, Community 11, Tema
He assumed the role of Minister-in-Charge.
-- Furthering his ministry, he took on the responsibilities of Minister-in-Charge at the El-Perez Congregation in Spintex.
Rev. Kissi is happily married to Mrs. Abena Kissi, and together they have been blessed with four children: Nyameani, Nyamedea, Nyameama, and Nyamenhyehyei. They enjoy a vibrant family life.
